What is The Missing Ink?

Not to be confused with “The Missing Link,” it is the official unofficial Arts online magazine for The University of Alabama. It offers in-depth coverage of the Arts on campus that are not highly publicized. The Missing Ink wants to give the unknown artists a name.

There are many students, faculty, guests and organizations on campus that have outstanding creative abilities that some people may not know about. The Missing Ink will give those artists a voice. Believe it or not, Tuscaloosa has a lot to offer in the field of Art involving extremely talented people.

Rather it be music, creative writing, photography, videography or other kinds of art, The Missing Ink recognizes these specialities and informs its audience with upcoming events on the calendar, artist spotlights, articles, creative photos and film documentaries. This blog is just one part of The Missing Ink that provides a gateway for people interested in the Arts to converse and share knowledge.

The Missing Ink will also be offered as an Independent Study Course at UA. If you are interested, leave a comment.

The Web site is currently under construction, but will be ready very soon. In the mean time, check out past articles, create a username and gain insight on UA’s Art scene.

Visit the Web site and start blogging with The Missing Ink!
