Although I love all of the films you’re referring to, I’ll give you this: the “indie film” has become a huge cinematic fad that the industry is playing in to. It’s less about plot and more about witty dialogue and insight into normal human situations. Nonetheless, I’d rather watch these movies over Transformers or Sorority Row any night.
